Love for Teachers Outreach

Collecting July 10- August 10, 2022

Our teachers have been strong warriors in trying to help students learn despite all the obtacles in their path since the onset of COVID. We love ALL our teachers in all the area districts and know they have all struggled, however God has specifically put the teachers at Kalamazoo Public Schools on our hearts to bless this year.

Our goal is to send a box of classroom supplies and encouraging notes to each of the grades in the 24 different schools in KPS district.

WE KNOW THAT IS A BIG GOAL… BUT WE HAVE A BIG GOD!!!

We began collecting supplies and handwritten notes during Catalyst week this year, and decided we will continue collecting through the second week of August. Donations will be delivered to the schools in mid-August.

What We Are Collecting:

ENCOURAGEMENT / PRAYER NOTES: Write notes of encouragement and thanks for their hard work.
Include a simple prayer or verse.

MONEY DONATIONS: Donate funds and we will pass along so they can purchase larger, specific-needs items.

• Reams of Copier Paper (light colored paper)
• Pre-Sharpened Pencils (Ticonderoga)
• Glue Sticks
• One-Subject Notebooks (solid color)
• Cleaning Wipes
• Kleenex
• Hand Sanitizer
• Coffee Gift Cards – $5 (will include with the encouragement notes we are giving each teacher)

ELEMENTARY:

• Crayons
• Markers (wide & narrow)
• Whiteboard markers (wide & pen size)
• Paper Folders (solid colors)
• Erasers (block & pencil top)Construction Paper
• Underwear (boys & girls)
• Sweatpants or stretchy pants (boys & girls)

MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL:

• Pens (black, blue, multi-colored packs)
• Sticky Note Pads
• Note Cards
