What is the Vision for Jesus Loves WMU?
The Vision of Jesus Loves WMU is to unite the body of Christ on campus to work together to win at least 1000 souls per year unto Jesus! This vision is being led forward by a diverse group of current WMU students and Campus ministry leaders as well as representatives from the Jesus Loves Kzoo team.
What is Main Focus?
Our main focus is prayer and evangelism. This is accomplished by…
- Weekly Christ Hour Outreach – Every Wednesday (1-3 pm) in front of Kanley Chapel.
- Monthly Campus Prayer – Every first Monday @ 6-7 pm @ Kanley Chapel
- Yearly Christ Hour Conference – Held in late September to ignite passion for coming together to reach the lost.
- Yearly Gospel Outreach Week – Held in early October in all the WMU campuses.
Why Sacrifice the Time & Effort to Come Together?
Over the past twelve years, the same word of prophecy for WMU has been repeated through different people that don’t know each other but all saying “prepare, for a [spiritual] flood is coming…” We don’t know how God will bring it to pass, but we know our part as the body of Christ is to prepare and move as led by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we are excited about opportunities to work TOGETHER as the body of Christ to fulfill the Lord’s command to GO and MAKE DISCIPLES of all nations! (Matt 28:18-20)
