John M. Perkins
Dr. Perkins is a legendary civil rights activist who has devoted his life to the cause of reconciliation. As a best-selling author, he has written 18 books including One Blood: Parting Words to the Church on Race. Dr. Perkins is an internationally renown speaker and teacher, has served under five United States Presidents and has received fifteen honorary doctorates for his extraordinary efforts. In 1983 the John and Vera Mae Perkins Foundation was established. The Foundation is committed to spreading the wholistic Gospel of Jesus Christ; advancing reconciliation, justice, and Christian Community Development nationally and around the world.
Soong-Chan Rah
Rev. Dr. Soong-Chan Rah is a sought-after speaker and major voice on today’s evangelical justice scene. Soong-Chan is a Milton B. Engebretson Professor of church growth and evangelicalism at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago and the author of several books including Prophetic Lament: A Call for Justice in Troubled Times and The Next Evangelicalism: Freeing the Church from Western Cultural Captivity.

Morning and afternoon sessions with keynote speakers John Perkins and Soong-Chan Rah as well as multiple breakouts. Registration Required.
FRIDAY, MARCH 13 — One Worship Encounter
7 – 9 pm – FREE & Open to the community
Location: The Bridge, 7200 Angling Rd, Portage, MI
Powerful prayer and worship night with multi-church, multi-ethnic team AND Dr. Perkins will be there to share a word for Kalamazoo.
