Thirteen year old Samuel VerHage is a Jesus Loves Kzoo VETERAN VOLUNTEER with a BIG heart & vision!

For the FIFTH year now, he has been collecting blankets for the homeless — and this year’s goal is 3000 PLUS 300 sleeping bags! He will be giving blankets and sleeping bags to many missions in West Michigan as well as handing out many of these blankets on Friday, Nov 29 (the day after Thanksgiving) at MLK Park in Kalamazoo.

Jesus Loves Kzoo will be PARTNERING with Samuel to provide some FOOD & MINISTRY to the community that day! 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Food Prep (time TBA)
Set up help at park (12:30)
Food Serving Volunteers (1:30-3:30)
Prayer and Fellowship Volunteers (1:30-3:30)
Clean up help (3:30-4:30)

Hot Chocolate Mix
Coffee
Cups & Lids (for hot drinks)
Hot Dog Buns
Cookies (or other snacks)
Plates & Napkins
Ketchup
Gloves / Hats / Warm Socks
** AND OF COURSE BLANKETS!!
