Prayer Points for the Kalamazoo Region

#1: CONSECRATION

Exodus 19: 10 “And the Lord said to Moses, “God to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes and be ready by the third day because on that day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.”

Exodus reveals how before a face-to-face encounter with His people, the Lord requires a time of CONSECRATION—to wash and purify in preparation for His coming. As we anticipate and wait expectantly for an encounter with the living God, let us pray that a burning hunger for holiness sweeps through the church in these next days. Without HOLINESS no one will see the Lord! (Heb. 12:14).

#2: CONSECRATION

Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

As we long to see God come and move in our midst at Healing the Land let us CONSECRATE ourselves by asking God to search us, exposing the offensive things hidden in our hearts, and lead us deeper in the way of His Kingdom.

#3: CONSECRATION

Romans 12:1-2 “I urge you brothers in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God– this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

We long for radical transformation to sweep this region, a renewing that spills from minds and hearts. Pray for His Spirit to flow over the church, spurring us towards lives sacrificially poured out, consecrated to Him in holiness. Let this region not conform to the pattern of this world, but the rhythms of His kingdom!

#4: UNITY

John 17:23 “…May they be brought to COMPLETE UNITY to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”

One of Jesus’ final requests to the Father before His arrest is a cry for the COMPLETE UNITY of His church. Today lets press into the heartbeat of King Jesus to see His Kalamazoo bride perfectly unified, radiant in love & holiness…. “that the world may know!”

#5: UNITY

Philippians 2:2-3 “Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”

What would it look like to see a unity in the Kalamazoo region birthed out of HUMILITY… where we honored other believers, churches, and ministries as much as our own? Today lets ask the Father to remove selfish ambition and bind us together in ONE spirit and purpose.

#6: UNITY

Galatians 3:28 “there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Pray that The Father would demolish racial, cultural, economic, and gender barriers that have caused division in the church!

#7: VISION

Proverbs 29:18 “Without VISION the people perish…”

What would revival really look like in our region?? What demonic strongholds would we see demolished? Where would we witness His healing power & love pouring out?

Lets seek the Father for a release of more VISION over Kalamazoo… dreams, ideas, and tangible ways to expect His transformation.

# 8: VISION

Acts 2:46-47 “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God… and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

This passage offers a glimpse of what revival looked like in the days of the New Testament. What does revival look like in our day? Press in for heavenly vision over Kalamazoo and ask boldly for BIG transformation.

#9: VISION

Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus …”

With anticipation and joy we have VISION beyond what we can imagine doing on our own strength. Where are the darkest places and deepest strongholds in the Kalamazoo region? Lets boldly approach His throne to ask for radical healing & restoration.

#10: CATALYST

Acts 4:31 “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

A catalyst can be defined as “an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.” Acts testifies how believers gathered together for prayer– a catalyst for transformation.

Our cry to heaven is that the Church would not meet simply for the sake of an ‘event’, but that Healing the Land would be an AGENT of CHANGE, a spark for the flame of revival that God wants to release in our region!

#11: CATALYST

Acts 2:1-2 “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.”

The believers in Acts gathered together in one place to seek His face and God crashed in like a violent wind, filling the whole house! History will never be the same because of that CATALYST moment– the gospel was spread to thousands throughout the region, and then on to the nations.

Why not in our day? Ask that His Spirit would fill the entire region–let the church of Kalamazoo never be the same because of what He pours out in this moment of history!

#12: COMPELLED

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 “For Christ’s love COMPELS us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.”

Lets seek the Father’s heart for a burning revelation of His love. Pray that the heartbeat of heaven would pulse through our leaders and the church would be COMPELLED to lay down their lives for the King who is Worthy.
